Mark Lock is Of Counsel to HBA in thearea of data privacy. He is a commercial and regulatory compliance attorneywith a focus on data privacy and technology. Mr. Lock has supported public andprivate companies in various industries, including media, technology,hospitality, healthcare, consulting, logistics, financial services, insurance,and automotive. He has expertise in data privacy law including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA,and GLBA. From 2021 to 2024 he served as Associate General Counsel of The ArenaGroup (NYSE: AREN), a public media technology company and publisher. Prior tothat, Mr. Lock was corporate counsel at Ally Bank (formerly GMAC).
